Custom-Made and Printed Cosmetic Packaging - Bags for Ekspert Kosmetyczny & Fabryka Dzika

Polish brand Ekspert Kosmetyczny & Fabryka Dzika, owned by renowned trichologist Joanna Skrzypczak, was looking for premium packaging for its limited-edition Christmas gift sets featuring professional scalp and hair care products. To meet the brand's specific requirements, we created a bespoke solution, supplying 800 navy blue bags made from thick, luxurious velour. Discover how this custom printed cosmetic packaging project influenced customers' perceptions of the collection.
The challenge: creating an appealing Christmas gift set without changing the individual product packaging
Joanna Skrzypczak's beauty brand wanted to combine several cosmetics into complete Christmas gift sets. It needed packaging that could accommodate the products while creating a festive atmosphere and highlighting the exclusive nature of the limited-edition collection.
The packaging needed to:
- accommodate different combinations of multi-product gift sets,
- reflect the brand's premium positioning,
- create an elegant, festive feel,
- make each set look like a ready-to-give present that could be placed straight under the Christmas tree,
- display the brand's logo prominently,
- remain useful even after the cosmetics had been removed.
Our range of ready-made bags did not include velour in the exact shade the client required. The standard options available in our shop could not fully meet her expectations, so a bespoke, made-to-measure solution was needed. The project required complete customisation, including non-standard dimensions, a distinctive premium fabric and durable logo printing.
The solution: navy blue velour with gold printing
For Ekspert Kosmetyczny & Fabryka Dzika, we produced large navy blue velour bags in two sizes at our sewing facility in Poland. The fabric had a weight of 220 g/m². Its thick, soft texture gave the gift sets an elegant finish, while the deep navy blue complemented the winter theme of the limited-edition collection.
Each bag featured a gold print on the front, combining the brand's logo with a festive message. The contrast between gold and navy blue emphasised the exclusive character of the gift sets while ensuring that the branding remained clearly visible.
The order included two sizes designed to accommodate different versions of the cosmetic gift sets:
- 750 bags measuring 40 x 40 cm
- 50 bags measuring 40 x 50 cm
Made-to-measure production allowed us to tailor the bags to two versions of the gift sets, which differed in the number and size of the cosmetics they contained. Choosing the right usable height ensured that the products could be arranged neatly, without the excess empty space or overly tight fit often associated with standard packaging. The drawstring closure kept the contents secure, while the decorative ruffle formed when the bag was tied added an elegant finishing touch. Using two different sizes also helped maintain a consistent appearance across the entire Christmas collection.

The result: packaging that became part of the gift
The velour bags were more than just packaging for storing and transporting cosmetics. They became an integral part of the Christmas gift sets, enhancing their perceived value and giving them the appearance of complete, ready-to-give presents.
Once the cosmetics had been placed inside and the drawstrings pulled tight, there was no need for additional wrapping paper or a separate gift box. The decorative ruffle, soft fabric and visible logo created a complete, elegant presentation, allowing each gift to be handed over immediately or placed straight under the Christmas tree.
Strengthening the brand's premium image
The combination of thick, soft velour, deep navy blue and gold printing highlighted the exclusive character of the collection. The packaging reflected the positioning of the brand's professional trichological products while introducing an elegant, festive feel. Consistent colours and a prominently displayed logo meant that the bags not only protected their contents but also reinforced the brand's recognisable identity.
Giving the packaging a second life and keeping the logo visible for longer
The velour bags continued to serve a purpose long after the gifts had been unwrapped. Thanks to their durable fabric and versatile size, they could be reused to organise cosmetics, accessories or other small household items. One customer highlighted this advantage in a comment beneath a Reel on the brand's Instagram account:
"Now that's what I like! A box always gets thrown away, but I love bags like these and always keep them 😉 I'm sure I'll find a use for them."
Other customers also shared ideas for reusing the packaging on social media. They used the bags to store and transport hairdryers, organise cosmetics and household accessories, and even store dried mushrooms.
These spontaneous reactions show that customers saw the packaging as an additional, practical part of the gift set rather than something to be thrown away after a single use. Attractive packaging can also encourage engagement on social media, prompting customers to share the moment they unwrap their gift set, post a photo of their present or show how they have reused the bag.
User-generated content, including comments, Stories, photos and unboxing videos, can help extend the reach of a Christmas campaign and build brand credibility. Rather than disappearing once the gift has been opened, a personalised bag can remain part of a customer's everyday surroundings. With its prominently displayed logo, it can continue to act as a mobile brand ambassador long after the festive season.

What made this project a success?
Three elements were key to this project: dimensions tailored to the products, a fabric that matched the brand's identity and printing that remained clear and proportionate on both bag sizes.
Thanks to bespoke production, Ekspert Kosmetyczny & Fabryka Dzika was able to create two versions of its ready-to-give gift sets without changing the individual packaging of the cosmetics. At the same time, the entire limited-edition collection maintained a consistent, recognisable appearance.
This project demonstrates how a personalised bag can serve several purposes at once: bringing multiple products together in a single gift set, protecting the contents, enhancing the presentation and remaining useful after a seasonal campaign has ended.
